タイトルを見て、え？今更？なんて思う方もいるかもしれません。
実は・・・私はAPEXを一台も持っておりませんでした。
近年珍しく(笑)今年の頭から忙しく活動してますが、今まで使ってきたAPEXはESのお借りしている板であり、常にトラブルを抱えあちこちツギハギだらけです。
そのボロボロの板も、山さん(fred yama)のご好意が無ければ今頃APEXを触る事すらなかったでしょう。
そんな状況を見るに見かねてか？本社ROGからとうとう製品版の板が私宛に送られてきました。
duckの名前が入った特別仕様です。
本当に有難いです。
ROGの皆さん、いつも有難うございます。
これでようやく私も頂点を目指す事ができそうです(大笑い)

とは言え、ここまで色んな場所で大量のAPEXを弄らさせて頂きましたが、やはり板により個体差があるようです。
まぁ、ハズレという物は無いのでしょうが当たりロットは確実にあると思います。
今回家に送られてきた板は、93xxxの当たりロットと言われている物なので少し期待しています。
いわゆる当たり板は、メモリのパフォーマンスが素晴らしいです。
最近気になってる事があるのですが、同じCPUとメモリセットを使っているのに、どうやら板によってメモリの得意チャンネルが変わる事があるようです。
友人からも同じ様な報告をうけました。
例えばA-Bの順で挿した方が良好だったのに、別の板ではB-Aの順が良好だったりと、少々戸惑う場面がありました。
もし複数枚のAPEXを持っておられる方は、その辺も頭に入れといた方が良いかもしれませんね。
あとは、初期のロットの板に限り？使い方によってはバグる事も確認されてますので、何か問題がありましたら私にご連絡頂ければ、解決法をお伝えいたします。(分かる範囲ですが…)

By the way, I used a lot of APEX in various places,it seems that there are individual differences depending on the board as well.
There are not bud mother but certainly there are good mother I think.
The board sent today is said that good lot no “93xxx” so I’m expecting.
Good board has excellent memory performance.
Sometimes it seems to have bugs only in the initial lot, please contact me if something goes wrong.

M8IMPACTの後継機種的な立ち位置でもあるので、メモリを含めたOCをする人も多いと思います。
IMPACTで廻らなかったメモリもAPEXで急に廻り出したという話をよく耳にします。
もちろん稀に、その逆もありますが。
なので、諦めてしまって押入れに眠っているメモリも復活するかもしれませんね。

I often hear stories that the memory doesn’t run with IMPACT but ran with APEX.
Ofcause vice versa but it is rare.
I hope your memory that gave up and put in the closet will revive.
